Get Glowing Skin with this Homemade Avocado-Banana Facial Mask

Denne sunde og billige ansigtsmaske afstresser din hud og skaber en smuk glød. Når det kommer til hudpleje, behøver man heldigvis ikke købe sig fattig i dyre produkter (ofte er de typisk også fyldte med sundhedsskadelige kemikalier og tilsætningsstoffer). Jeg anvender derfor selv naturens egne og rene produkter – det er endda billigt og nemt! En god tommelfingerregel er, at så længe ens hudplejeprodukter er spiselige, så er man sikker på ikke at tilføre sin hud noget skidt.

Denne ansigtsmaske kan i hvert fald spises (tror endda heller ikke den smager så værst faktisk, hehe), og den giver din hud en masse glød.
Den indeholder antioxidanter, omega-3, vitamin E og C, som er essentielt for en smuk og sund hud. Derudover virker denne maske antiinflammatorisk, hvilket særligt er godt, hvis du døjer med en stresset hud. Stress skaber nemlig inflammation i både krop og hud, og det kan komme til udtryk som fx rødme, udslæt og bumser. Min hud reagerer altid sådan, når jeg er for stresset. Jeg forsøger at minde mig selv om, at det blot er et kærligt og omsorgsfuldt signal fra min krop om, at jeg skal slappe af – men det er svært at være positiv omkring en bums på næsen, hehe. Under alle omstændigheder fungerer denne maske rigtig godt til at få huden til at slappe af, samtidig med den tilfører din hud vigtige vitaminer. Masken bruger jeg selv, når jeg kan se min hud er stresset, men jeg forsøger også at bruge den forebyggende, således at min hud bedre modstår fremtidig stress.
Alt du skal bruge:
1/2 avocado*
1/2 banan*
1 stor tsk honning*
1 spsk friskpresset citronsaft*
Bland det hele sammen og lad det sidde på huden i 20 minutter, hvorefter du renser det af med vand. Voila!
* Jeg bruger udelukkende økologiske ingredienser for ikke at tilføre min hud sprøjtemidler og unaturlige ingredienser, som blot vil stresse huden yderligere.

This healthy and cheap facial mask calms your skin and make it glow. When it comes to skin care the good news is that you do not need to buy expensive products. And besides saving money many products on the market are even full of chemicals and additives bad for your health and the environment. To me it therefore makes so much sense to use natural products – cheap, healthy and easy.  A good rule of thumb I always stick to is that as long as your skin care products are eatable you are sure not to add anything harmful to your skin.

This facial mask is eatable, for sure (I don’t even think it would taste that bad), and it gives your skin a lot of glow and health.
It contains antioxidants, omega-3, vitamin E and C that are all essential for a healthy and glowing skin. Furthermore this mask has anti-inflammatory properties which are excellent for a stressed skin. Stress creates inflammation in both body and skin which is often sees as break-outs and redness. My skin always reacts this way when I’m too stressed. I try to remind myself that it is just a loving and caring signal from my body, telling me that I must slow down, but I still find it difficult to be positive about a red pimple on the nose, hehe. Nevertheless, this facial mask calms your skin while supplying a lot of vitamins. Whenever my skin is stressed out I use this mask but I also try to use it more preventive so my skin better resist future stress.
All you need:
1/2 avocado*
1/2 banana*
1 large teaspoon honey*
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice*
Mix everything together and leave it on the skin for approximately 20 minutes. Rinse it off with water. Voila!
* I make sure only to use organic ingredients since I do not want to stress out my skin by adding any kinds of pesticides etc.
